About
Viaduct Studio provides an opportunity for writers, theater workers, musicians, and visual artists to work and learn together. Viaduct Studio is a three-ring circus of art, merging original theater, live music, and the visual arts on a particular theme to create an evening
greater than the sum of its parts.
Formed by artistic director Rick Schweikert and managing director Bob Marion, Viaduct is located in the first floor of an artist/warehouse/office building in downtown Pittsburgh.
Marion and Schweikert were founding board members of Seattle Public Theater. They also collaborated to create Beer Theater (“to beer or not to beer...what was the question?”), a non-organized theater collective in the halcyon days of Seattle’s boom era. They’re at it again, with Viaduct Studio, and they hope you’ll be a part of it.
